Grace Helen McCue passed on February 7, 2012 after 92 years of enjoyable and productive life. Grace was born November 17, 1919 in Bronx, New York. She was the daughter of Frank and Helen Rodd, the sister of Dorothy and Edmund. Grace graduated from Jamaica High School (New York) in June 1939, where she was voted “wittiest” in her senior yearbook. She then worked for American Airlines headquarters in New York City for eight years. In 1947, she married James McCue. Their marriage lasted 63 years, until Jim passed in August 2010. Grace and Jim lived in Albertson, New York for over 50 years in the same house, and worked at Adelphia University Library for 30 of those years. They moved to Virginia in 2004 to be closer to their only child Joseph and daughter-in-law Deborah. Grace and Jim had 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Grace shall be interned with her husband James at Arlington National Cemetery where a graveside service is scheduled on Friday, May 25, 2012 starting at 11:00 a.m.
